Firewall specialist Clavister signs new distributor in Turkey

The IT-security company Clavister and the Turkish IT-distributor Elmer has entered an agreement on sales of Clavister’s awards-winning firewall Clavister Firewall, in Turkey, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Kirgizistan and Uzbekistan.

“We were looking for a market-leading firewall to fill the gap in our security products portfolio. We discovered that the Clavister Firewall is a perfect fit for our expectations. The technology behind Clavister is impressive; it is not based on a traditional operating system, comes with built-in traffic shaping features and all you need for high availability is a cable for the second firewall,” says Oguz Ulker, Elmer Sales Manager.

Also important for the market is a very good price/performance ratio and Elmer believes that they have found the best product to bring to their market

According to the agreement, Elmer will market the product which can be delivered both as a Firewall Appliance with customized hardware or as software for installation on optional hardware. Elmer will also build a network of system integrators and retailers in the region that will be used to further distribute the product in the area.

The cooperation with Elmer makes it possible for Clavister to reach a growing number of companies in Central Asia with a great demand for IT-security products.
