China Computer World, one of China's largest and most important IT magazines, has awarded a Clavister high-end product the "Recommended Product" award after a thorough evaluation of gigabit firewalls on the Chinese market. The magazine states that the Clavister product is recognized as a pearl among products, and showed splendid reliability during the entire evaluation. As one of few products passing all tests, the Clavister product is competent for applications within the telecom operator segment as well as for large enterprises, concludes the magazine.

China Computer World tested gigabit firewall products from ten vendors, including Fortinet, Samsung and several others. The evaluated Clavister product was the Clavister H4080B (branded Amaranten F5000 in China), equipped with eight gigabit Ethernet interfaces and hot-swappable, redundant, power supplies.

The magazine noticed that the Clavister product includes advanced technology and optimization, and was the only product completely meeting all test requirements. The evaluation report goes on to state that the test engineers believe that the F5000 absolutely attains perfection. Moreover, the magazine also judges that the Clavister product is the most successful in the test regarding the ability to handle high amount of new connections, even with the device already loaded with several millions of connections.
